NBA2k new comer

I'm looking for a good realistic franchise mode to play. How is NBA2K20 franchise? Does it run well with me having to manage everything around the league like I have to do with Madden or can I focus on just my team?

What are the good and bad you've all experienced with franchise mode?

sadly in 2k its necessary to manage All 30 Teams or else the AI will just make some really crappy moves and destroy their Teams.
every year i Start with the Agenda to only control my Team and switch to 30 Team control after some time.

Thanks for your comment. What kind of moves do you see teams making that cause issues?

Well especially that they tend to get multiple star players on the same position. Together with the fact that AI makes their rotation solely based on OVR and primary position, this will lead to teams having 70 rated starters on one position while they have 80+ players coming from the bench or not even playing on another position.
Additionally, the AI or the game in general was not adjusted to the OVR inflation that we see in the past few years, so players will demand too much money for what they actually are worth. This handicaps teams further in building a solid team.

NBA 2K has the best franchise mode hands down with MLB the Show coming close. Sure there are some minor negatives but man...2K has it when it comes to franchise

Wouldnt call it minor that when you're 3 or 4 years into MyLeague, the AI just completely is unable to put up a decent team. It is like that every year.
