Anyone else gone back to '19?

I bought 2K20 when it first came out but I've ditched it and gone back to 2K19. Never done that with a sports game before.

To me, it literally just felt like a roster update with super slow gameplay. I'm not mad though because I'm having fun getting back into '19.

As much as we moan about the game, it does have a level of customisation unparalleled in other sports franchises. You'd never be able to load up an old Fifa or Madden and still have a realistic experience, even just one edition behind.

Who else is back on 2K19 and what will 2K21 need to get you to try again?

I expect 2k21 on ps4 to be the same. However, i HOPE the ps5 version is VASTLY different. But i won't hold my breath.

I've been bouncing back and forth consistently between the two games which is a first for me. No real reason. Some days, I prefer the gameplay of NBA 2K19, and some days I prefer the gameplay of NBA 2K20. Well...I kinda liked the Pacers' roster (Classic and current) better in NBA 2K19. The classic Pacers team still had David West.

I am on the same page as well. It's not normal (trying) to play a game for 4-5 months and not be able to figure out how to make it enjoyable. That means it's not a good game.
Going back to 2k19, i saw a more natural movemet, the players have weight moving across the floor, it is a more realistic experience.
And i got rid of a list of annoying things of 2k20 (green splash, take over icons, superhuman badges, unnessesary scrolling up-down when editing sliders for user/cpu among others)

I go back and forth but 19 has been getting more attention from me last few weeks. From a Roster editing standpoint the Open, Moving and Contested Mid Range and 3pt Ratings is alot better than the Badges they added in 20.

That's where I'm at too. And the play calling. And the freaking green release is gone.

I did the classic pacers` roster and 60 new classic teams. Maybe you like it.
