Not enough 3pt attempts during gameplay

Anybody else noticing this? Average NBA team shots around 28 three's a game. Most games I play 3pt attempts top out in the low 20s or never even break 20. I think 2k needs to do some tuning here because the 3 point attempt slider does nothing to help these numbers.

The 3pt slider does help if you adjust the other shot sliders as well. I based mine off of real life percentage averages for the different shot attempt by distance and it's working well for me. Doing this also fixes the forced drives as well.

Care to share what you did? Do you have a slider set somewhere on the forum?

Lower the global close shot tendency to 5 and up the 3 pt tendency to 80+. Give it a try.

Actually, I think I've found the culprit. The Nets (who I usually ball with) are playing a 'defensive' (lol) system. Switching to pace and space literally increased the 3pt takes two fold. I went from 20 attempts in one sim to 39 in another. Yep....just something else 2k ****ed up..

Nice find, I could never actually notice a difference in the systems that coaches use in the game. But apparently there is a difference.

All I did was increase 3 point shot tendency to 72-75 and I'm getting 28 threes a game. Except for the teams that don't actually shoot that many like the Spurs. I didn't touch any other tendencies.

I am getting the exact opposite. All the CPU does is make 14 to 20 threes vs me every game.
