Can we talk about Critical MyLeague Online Errors / Bugs?

I've already posted this in the bugs/glitches thread, but until some acknowledgment that they are actually working on these bugs, I feel somewhat slighted.



I was one of the pre-order buyers and the primary game mode I play is Myleague Online with 30+ users.


There are several issues that still have not been addressed. Tried reaching out to Scott OG, Da Czar, Brian Mazique and Mike Wang just for acknowledgment that these errors are at least being worked on. Dead silence except for one of the bugs.


Issues/Bugs:



  • If you call a timeout and the clock runs out, it AUTOMATICALLY DISCONNECTS THE GAME. This means I could be down by 30 and if I let the clock run out, auto-disconnect and we have to replay the game again.

  • You cannot call Freelance Plays and Series from the OTF menu. As this was highly touted as a cool feature to use, it sucks that you have to call a timeout before you can change this feature. That, and you have to HAVE THE BALL in order for you to use it or it's greyed out!

  • Playbooks. Can't add 3 pt plays and a bunch of other plays because there's a glitch in the Playbook. You add this to the inability to run freelance sets and series OTF and makes it tough to get into a good offensive flow.

  • Contracts. There is something going on with RFA contracts. When someone makes an offer and you say you'll match, a pop-up screen says that the player has joined the other team! That's not how RFA works lol. You then have to go back in and there could be another offer from the same team for more money and you have to accept it again before they join your team back. This will cause headaches in the off-season as many people will freak out when they match their key RFA and it says they joined another team.

  • Contract Extensions. There is no way to start a contract extension. I see the timer counting down, I see the pop up after it's expired, but I don't see anything regarding how to do contract extensions! No option in the menu, nothing.

  • Coach Settings / Controller settings - Guys, it's been like 4 years and the settings still don't save appropriately, unless I make the changes RIGHT BEFORE starting a game. I should be able to save it once and not have it reset every time I go back into the league.

  • Injury Bug - If someone gets injured in your game, the game pretty much freezes up EVERY TIME. Players just stand around and you can mash every button you want but you can't do anything in the game.



Now, don't get me wrong. I'm grateful we now have a Full OA. But some of these bugs/glitches make it impossible to start a full season. When MyLeague Online is the only mode you play and you play it from the time you get the game until the time the next game comes out, it would be nice to at least get ACKNOWLEDGEMENT that the devs know about these issues and are working on them.



The last thing I want to do is be that guy who spams all the devs twitter accounts hoping they see my post to acknowledge these issues, but for the sake of the league, I will if I have too.

Especially the Part with the resetting controller/Coach settings is so annoying. I remember back when they introduced ACE everything was fine and after one Patch düring that year, you Were Not able to Set ace to Off in the Main menu...

Please add to the list, that you have to advance the League to another date for trades and free agent Signings to go through. means you will at one point advance over a Day where There are games still Not Played which then will get simulated. just let admins approve trades like it has been the last years...


OP please let me Know if you Start tweeting at 2k devs. i usually dont use Twitter, but I created an Account years ago as this Was the only way back then to reach out to the roster maker and the devs. i will retweet everything that you write!

Completely forgot about the trades and FA signings. We had this issue too.



I've already started. Sent them a tweet last night, made the post on OS this morning, tweeted it BACK out to the devs, I PM'd ScottOS the thread, I reached out to my connect LegionHoops who talks with Ronnie and the dev team, reached out to Brian Mazique about it, and filed a 2k support ticket with the bugs/errors.



What pisses me off is i've been at this since the launch and crickets except for Da Czar discussing the playbook issue in a stream. Still not fixed.

Yeah i fear that maybe we got someone to acknowledge the problems, but we wont get a fix. we can hope for some in 2k20,but I wouldnt count on it, as some of These errors exist for years... i mean the Thing with trades and Signings Was exactly the same back in 2k13....


it is so sad... every year the games comes out and i find some Not gamebreaking but still really annoying issues. and Every year i try to get it fixed by filing Support Tickets and tweeting and what else. and every time my reaction ends up in "another year with so many errors, lets wait for the next game".

i mean the game is out 2 days and i am already in a state where i say There are so Many Bad Things. Essentialy i can say that There is really nothing from the New Features which really interests me AND is working it in the same time....

i retweeted yourd and added some of the issues in answer tweets. lets continue to do that! lets Start getting at everyone involved in 2k that is on Twitter. and lets keep pushing this Thread. i will also File some Bug reports at 2ksupport.

Thanks for the thread joepatowski,

These are all legit bugs and kills the experience in the worst way possible because this is Online Leagues and we have 29+ other people around to make it thru and people can get sick right away as the history of Online League suggests.

I feared the very first moment i saw the "time ticker" thing and well yeah here we are. We have to advance a day to make the trades? Come on, nah..

All of the listed bugs are true and hopefully simballer, davez and leftos are around. SILENCE on their part, no communication equals ERRORS/BUGS always, it's always the same.

Hopefully they come up front to really understand what's going on the streets of MLO with us the real players that care much about the mode as they do and we're certain they care a lot so let's make it fixed.

I will add another issue which is;
  • In Game Management menu where you see all games and do resets and such, the days get stuck on an empty match day.

So if you go to Game Management and then try to go to December 11 lets say and in between schedule if there is one day that has no match in calendar then that day makes you stuck there period. Nothing you can do R2-L2 doesn't work anymore you gotta get out. Basically "GAME MANAGEMENT MENU" is Broken overall.

One thing I can add is when in a timeout setting your primary focus to series and change your series, the game will drop.
