Corrupted user files when reinstalling NBA 2K16 & NBA 2K15 on PS4

For a change of pace from NBA 2K18, I decided to reinstall NBA 2K16 and NBA 2K15 onto my PS4 in the hopes of playing with old custom roster files and old MyLeague files that were backed up online.

When I load the games up, however, the PS4 tells me that the downloaded backups for my user, settings, and other files for these games are now corrupted.

Is there anyway to fix this? Are these files corrupted because the games are no longer current? Help.

I had this same issue with 2k16 but on the xbox, not sure but it might have something to do with 2k turning the servers off for those games.

Same thing happened to me on the PS4 with 15 and 16.

Was this after you reinstalled? Or were 15 and 16 already installed, and the user profile etc. just got corrupted on their own?

After I reinstalled the game and I loaded my profile and save from the cloud it said it was corrupted.

All I could salvage were my roster files and sliders. Def all server related

Thanks, man. How were you able to salvage your roster files and sliders after reinstalling? (Or did you never uninstall the older games?)

The roster files and sliders are all I really want. But if my downloaded user profile is corrupt, is it even possible to access the roster files?

For me they just never left. On my Xbox one the roster files just got their descriptions erased . But I could still load them. Offline files I mean. My season modes never got corrupted . I did hear that the corruption is more prevalent on the PlayStation four were you I couldn’t recover files so maybe you might be in worse trouble than what I experienced
