Just got an update telling me to go to the main menu

I wonder what gameplay changes they fix now. Hey 2k instead of telling us to go to the main menu why don't you give us tuning notes and tell us what are the changes.

You know 99% of those are roster adjustments, right? Like, I understand all of the children on reddit flipping out each time update required pops up. I feel like people here should be smarter than that.

Even if it's roster adjustments they should let us know! If I'm correct the one before this they tweaked the jumpshot. All I'm saying is why do I have to follow the devs on twitter to get these info.?

I had something typed out, but I deleted it. I'll be concise: I honestly don't think it matters. The reasoning is if they say the adjusted quincy acy with the update, and you get in a game and miss 6 wide open jumpers, You'll be on here crying like a child about phantom patches and 2k lying.

It makes no difference, you'll make up whatever you think the update did based on hot takes, like everyone else in the community. I wouldn't bother telling you a meaningless hair change if you're going to tell me "No you didn't! You changed this, this and this! Why you lying?".

Basically: What's the point when you will invent your own truth to fit whatever narrative you're trying to push?

I don't understand what ppl on the forums crying about stuff has anything to do with them not releasing info within the game when they do it on Twitter and get more backlash...I just rather they tell us what are the gameplay fixes in game rather than on Twitter.

2k definitely should be more transparent though. Shooting Tunes, slider changes, game speed changes etc. happen and the community doesn't know about it. At least give us a nice heads up on bigger changes. I don't really care for roster adjustments or updates. Gameplay changes should definitely be announced though.

Thanks for illustrating my point. That update was 2 days ago. But here we are claiming they did it with today's update.

The point is this thread. You'll get an update almost everyday. You have played the last 3 2ks, I know you have. They update statistics after every gameday. So it's redundant to say that every single day. But it'll get turned into a hot take on how they phantom changed stuff if you have 1 bad game.
