Franchise Quarter Length and Simulated Quarter Length

As I'm going to start my Knicks franchise. I want to play my games and have my stats accurate to the other simulated games and real life games. However I don't want to play 12 minute quarters.

Do you guys have any advice on how long my quarters and simulated quarters should be to ensure accuracy to real life stats?

I've been in a few My Leagues, anywhere from 6-8 minute quarters produce realistic stats dependent on your pace of the game.

Some people fast break/run and gun everything - while I've seen other players slow it down, run set offenses.

Somewhere within 6-8 minute quarters should suffice IMO

I always play 8 Minute/Quarter - then you should have nearly equal stats.....6 minutes are too short

I usually don't sim the minutes setting as it produce too high final scores. Last year I play 10 minutes with simulated minutes to 12. THis year I play only 8 minutes and sim minutes of 10. All team score produce decent numbers IMO.

Re: Franchise Quarter Length and Simulated Quarter Length

Currently on 8 min quarters and 9 minutes sim for cpu
Which creates healthy league leader list without boosting the point for amd against per game for the rest of the league .on 8 and 8 i was leage leader with towns and had top 3 highest scores in the nba .

8 quarters with 9/10 minutes sim is healthy .my advice
Normalise minutes but never stats
