The only question I have is if its possible to play this mode without money?

I was always under the impression that this mode was a money grab with the packs and all that.

Everyone i knew that played this mode said that they spent hundreds of dollars on it.

It's possible but definitely not easy. Last year I would play other modes (like MyLeague, etc) to earn VC, then use that to slowly buy packs.*MyCareer definitely took a back seat, as there wasn't enough VC to go around unfortunately.*There's also the free MyNBA2K18 app, which lets you earn some daily VC. Every little bit helps!

Since brio wants to talk about the app so much can we talk about how crappy that app "game" is?

It should be called "tap on your phone to get VC." I feel like a mouse that pushes a button to get a pellet of food. I've seen some freemium games in my time, but this one takes the cake for being the worst. It's freemium, but don't worry - it's also incredibly boring and has little to no fun factor or game mechanic.

This is literally the game - 1) open your starter pack 2) receive low numbers 3) tap on numbers to compete against other numbers. Who has the biggest number!??! 4) Receive other small numbers 5) Discard your low numbers to slightly improve your numbers 6) Tap on those newer, improved numbers 7) Repeat until you want to kill yourself 8) Optionally, you can watch 30s adds to speed up step 7) above.

It's plain horrible. Absolutely nothing redeemable about it accept that you can eventually get a small amount of VC.

Never mind - something was up with my game. I thought my MyTeam got deleted, but everything was almost back to normal (except the single Domination game I won).
