What Level Will You Reach

So I keep seeing people just assuming they will get to a 99 overall online. Considering reaching level 98 gets you on 2kTV for us to all see your beautiful face, I just don't think that many people are going to reach a level above that. I think getting up into the 90s will be doable for most who play this game regularly, but unless 2k is your life I think the people assuming they will get to 99 to bump up all of their badges is just ridiculous. Also, let's not even talk about making multiple builds if we don't get to keep reusing the points we have already unlocked.

My goal is to ride out my first build to the 90s. Once we get the game figured out, get my second and likely better build to the 90s. Then a last one for fun in the final months of the game to the mid-low 80s.

I made the mistake of making lots of players at the beginning of the year setting me back in time. I plan to get at least 97 as I hit ss4 in 2k17. Aiming for 98 or 99 though

The real question is are they gonna make us some glorified role players like they did last year or will our ratings be a real reflection of our overall rating?

It really depends on how slow will be the grinding/progression after you hit 85.

Too much unknown about the process at the moment to make a judgement. If they reward playing career on HoF with a grinding multiplier like they do for VC, then I'd expect to hit 99, if it has no bearing, then the park kids playing thousands of games and playing career on rookie for badges will be the first guys to do it.

As long as I can get to 91 so I can start influencing roster moves then I'll be good with that.

99 at least three times! I use MyGM to rack up VC. I like the level rewards this year.

VC alone is not getting you to a 99. It's going to be a grind that includes practices and games (park/pro-am, or career)

Nobody really knows right now. It doesn't seem like it will be that hard to get to 90. But if you get 99 you get immortalized or whatever, and last year, you needed to play it like it was a full time job to get to the highest rank.
