Does the "who to guard" arrow really drag you to your defender?

This seemed true in the past, and I noticed that you do get dragged... I'm just not sure if it is the arrow that is dragging me or that is just how the game is. Anyone else have an opinion on this?

If it does have a magnet/dragging - it'd be great if we could slide that to 0, but keep the arrow.

In pro-am, I need that arrow when I can't see the dude I'm guarding (due to camera angle), but I don't want it to be dragging me if it really does.

It definitely has a pull if you have played in the park, dragging you to directions your not even trying to go to

It really does. I've had it pull me in directions when I'm not even holding LT

Really? That's interesting. I always thought it was just a visual aid.

Does having it off make a definite difference?

I get dragged, but never knew if it was due to that Who To Guard or due to 2k's system.

Never paid too much attention to it when I had it off tbh. I haven't had it off in a while tho.

It is extremely annoying but yes the arrow drags you around even with defensive assist on 0. This really doesn't seem right and should be fixed if possible because I hate being moved when I'm not trying to but It is sometimes hard to track your guy after everyone on the court huddles up in the paint and then runs back out and everyone on the other team has the same stupid purple dreads.

Re: Does the "who to guard" arrow really drag you to your defender?

Guess "who to guard" is clearly visible on fastbreaks lolll

Im so disappointed in 2k this year i havent touched the game in 2 months because all these theories dont mean anything wenn a sports game in 2017 ruins the fastbreak aspect of the game wich automatically results in no reward on defense ..how can centers catch up with speedy pg's and make them stumble just by coming close to their heels?

First 2k has to program a healthy game and then fix defense and shot contesting without being warped or frozen ..and then after that we can talk visual aspects of the game .

Manual shot contest doesnt work so it doesnt matter if you pick alwayd or intense defense ...the cpu guards for you any way ..with ot without arrows of who to guard the cpu conteols your defense to a limit where its not rewarding okaying defense ..2k on the shelf collecting dust ...i hooe 2k will make a spiral leap downwards for letting hardcore olayers down after so many years .

Enjoy tho
