Tips for rebuilding Sacramento Kings

I'm been a Kings fan since they had Bibby,Weber,Divac,Bobby Jackson. I want to bring the kings back the ashes,just like my Raiders.
Any tips for rebuilding them will be very helpful.
Looking to build around Boogie with shooters,like the Magic with Dwight.

I think almost any rebuild would involve trading boogie away... but depending how you use the rosters.... imo bosh is a free agent wanting to play still.... so I sign him as a free agent (I keep him at about 28 mpg...to pretend...his real life heath issue is in the game) ...but add him with boogie...is a great start.....sign ray Allen if you want a shooter...and go from there!

Tank one season and draft a nice point guard with high potential. Or trade boogie for picks or young stars (lakers)

Yes but he's under contract until at least February 9th when Miami can apply to have his contract removed from their books due to career ending injury

Re: Tips for rebuilding Sacramento Kings

I would start by trading Rudy Gay and Kosta Koufos, Rudy is a FA at the end of the year and Kosta is making too much $ and you already have plenty of backup centers. I would try and acquire as much good young talent as possible at all of those other positions. The team will probably be terrible that 1st year, but you will get a high pick as a result. Plus you will have a ton of cap space in the offseason to make a run at a nice free agent or 2.

Re: Tips for rebuilding Sacramento Kings

Based on what you're trying to do;

- Trade everyone who isn't a center and can't shoot.

- Trade picks if you're not looking to build through the draft.

- Veteran shooters will be easier to get than young bucks, go for "win now". Korver and such.

- Play it smart in free agency, make sure you have cap space and don't worry too much about non-essential staff.
