And the dumb double teaming by the cpu after your player starts scoring a lot. (I only play offline)

Once you get the timing down with a good shooter, especially if he has an easy release to learn it becomes almost automatic. They really need to go back to last year when it didn't always go in just because you have a perfect green release. Even some of the greatest shooters ever have said they can usually tell if it's going in as soon as they release it but that it was never a guarantee the shot is going in. I feel like they did this for the casual online players but for us serious offline players it ruins the game because it makes it way to easy to shoot once you get that timing down...and this is even after the last patch which was supposed to make it more difficult to get a green release. Last year if you had a perfect green release it would go in probably 92% of the time and to me that was perfectly fine. I assume they changed it because too many young casual online players complained. There are some players that the shots are so easy to get the hang of that I'm getting green releases on probably 70% of their open midrange attempts and some of these players don't even have high shooting ratings...it's honestly making this game unplayable and that is ashame because for the most part I'm loving every thing else about the game.

As far as the double teaming...you guys already know how easy it is to exploit that so no need to explain.

I wish I shared your view that these were the only 2 things ruining the game.

There are some other things that I was able to fix with the right sliders...unfortunately I can't fix my 2 main complaints.

I'm gonna go with the strategy where someone bumps as much as possible and then throws a pass in the restricted area with ease every time as ruining this game

Or how about they just tone down green releases like they did last year? It was frustrating getting a green last year and bricking it.

Sounds like you need to spend more time with certain players shots. I just used kris Middelton in practice mode and was getting a green release about 90% of the time from around the 3pt line. Some players shots are just so easy to time it just right that I don't understand how anyone can complain about it being too hard to shoot

Obviously he would make most of his shots in practice but I don't want to know for sure that it's going in just because I time it right.

What I really hate is using an awful shooter that just happens to have an easy release to time and get green releases from that same player around 90% of the time.

Oh you were talking about offline. I was talking about online, my fault. But yeah I agree with you. They need to make it an opition next year. Even with the low 37 hof sliders for offline, I could shoot 7/7 if im open enough. Everyone release has the same quick timing, which is another reason it's easy too.
