Oh yeah, wanted to say as well that I don't feel that the CPU can only score using cheap tactics. I've seen well run plays that leave me shaking my head, in a good way. Just wish those were the plays that gave them momentum & changed the pace of the game rather than an and1 play after easily getting the ball into the paint & my CPU teammate (or me when I haven't even reached for a steal) gets automatically put into a foul animation.

Anyone else not getting the roster update after the patch? no change to player ratings, and Yi is still on the Lakers on my current roster...

Something else you need to do besides the patch? I´m on PS4 btw

Hey, has anyone had trouble contesting shots on close-outs?

My players will run towards the offensive player but absolutely refuse to contest the shot by putting a hand up when I use the shot stick. It's a bit aggravating and I'm not sure why it's happening.

Yeah same here. I have shot contest on intense d & for some reason it hasn't worked lately.

I believe in 3 to 5 more years this game will be as real as no other game.. The new tuning system has made the game speed perfect.. Not too fast and not too slow.. And yes it'd a few bugs here and there but keep in mind that it's a man made game and not from God himself.. Its a video game and not the real nba.. If you want the real nba.. ESPN is always on.. You guys have to understand that the more the fix one issue another may pop up.. I say one more patch and they should leave the game how it is and work on 2k18..all you guys are complaining but will still go buy 2k18 once you see the new gameplay and graphic commercial that comes out Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Whatever happened when the patch released and the game feeling free and organic is now completed gone with what I assume was the roster update. CPU defenders are now absolutely otherworldly on defense now. It is ridiculous and stupid. The bumping and mirror like cut offs of the CPU are ramped up even worse than it was before. It seems no matter what this game is doomed to be a frustrating experience. I no longer enjoy playing anything on Superstar or HOF. It is not sim, not realistic, not enjoyable, and not basketball. We are supposed to be at a point in video games where there is no significant catch-up speed, no bandaids for poor game design etc. There is no such thing as swinging the ball around to catch defense off balance. The defense is literally never off balance. You can't use momentum against the CPU. Couple that with random turnovers and the inability to make anything if a defender so much as breathes on you from behind. I've reached a breaking point.

Having the same issue. Contests don't register correctly post patch so now you run up to a guy expecting your hand to go up and all you do is look him in the face as he drains a shot
