How to increase success of outlet passes?

I play with the Cavs in myGM mode. Played about 10-15 games so far.

In that sample size, success of outlet passes is a lot lower than real life.

I always sneak out the defender on a top of the key 3 pointer, who usually then has a couple steps on his man if it is a miss. And then I only pass it with Lebron and Love, who are two of the best in the NBA at tossing outlets.

I'd say I have about a 35-40% completion rate of the pass. The other passes head to the first row of the stands.

Is there a way to throw a softer but more accurate pass? As soon as I get the rebound, i'm pointing left stick forward and tapping X for reference.

Sliders (if available) or make better passes. It was nerfed, because it was abused by players.

How would you suggest to make better passes? What do I need to do differently when both passer and receiver are open?

Well, you know that the passes don't work, so make two passes. One to half court, and the next to the player underneath the basket.

you need to "follow the rules" this year.

it's very hard to describe in words what those words actually are though. but when you learn it, you just know if a pass is going to work.

I find that passing accuracy is a worthless stat, so jacking that slider all the way up, and giving lebron HOF break starter should help (love has it no?)
