Hello friends. I usually buy a version of the game every year-2 years. I play exclusively franchise mode and I was wondering if it's worth the purchase to pick up 2k17 or just continue playing 16.

They've added expansion teams and advanced rotations (specifying who plays what minutes in what positions) this year to MyLeague/MyGM. It's a good year to pick it up if you play those modes.

It's unplayable out of the box. Look at all the threads about broken defense. I'd wait until at least one patch, which is slated for November.

haha, I am mad at 2k this year for bad balance, but it's not 'unplayable.'

It's more like it seems playable but ends up making you angry. It seems like it would probably be fun if you played offline, but online is a mess.

I can agree with waiting for a patch, though. If you wanna ball offline, tho, what have you got to lose?

"Miles better" no way... GTA V is miles better than GTA IV.

2k17 is 2k16 after they finished making the game.

It is the same thing as every year, so if youre cool with that, then it is good to buy, but be real.
