Anyone having a hard time getting past the defense in the prelude?

It feels like 2k16 where that forcefield just keeps the defense with you no matter what dribble moves you pull off. As soon as I cut one way he's there already to cut me off and I'm a point guard. Frustrating to say the least. I wish they inputted the L2/LT dribble modifier back. That seemed to work better.

I feel the OP. I'm not very good at the game personally but when I try to do sizeup dribbles, behind back dribbles, spin moves, cuts and turns, nothing I do works to get past defenders.

Someone teach me the ways.

If I can't blow by the CPU I just use a screen.

Cheap CPU AI. just like last year.

Watching the NBA, you don't see quick PGs needing tons of dribble moves to blow past average defenders/big men.

How do you call for a screen again? I forgot from last year.

Honestly you're not really supposed to come down the court as a low rated player do a couple of crossovers on an island and get past your defender. I mean I'am sure it's possible but you need to get the defense moving a little bit, attack the rotations and stuff.
