2k couldn't mix "not keepers" players with draft prospect.

Two draft next season.. before draft players, then draft "not keepers" players.

I have some question regarding MLO.

How these keeper years work in "real" MLO. How are keeper years distributed among players and how can an admin affect this aspect of the game?

For example we will take Warriors and we have fresh start of MLO with 2 players we can keep after each season:
- Curry have 3 keeper years left
- Thompson have 2 keeper years left
- Draymond Green have 1 keeper year left

So after finishing the MLO season, Draymond automatically goes to "draft" pool (no more keeper years left), but we as owners of Warriors have option to "keep" Curry and Thompson trough set number of players defined by an admin. Assume we don't want to keep Curry.

1.) Does he enters a draft pool with 2 keeper years left?
2.) Knicks for example drafted (or newly signed) Draymond, how many keeper years did he acquire? 5, 4, 3, random? Do all FA from draft pool get same keeper years when they are drafted?
3.) How does adding additional "keeper" years work for rookies? Assume we have drafted new rookie from draft so he gets how many "normal" keeper years + 2,3,random keeper years for rookies?
4.) Draft picks... Do they matter in MLO? Is the draft position based solely by season standings and then lottery draw? Does the MLO lottery draw have same "logic" as the "real" lottery draw?
5.) How about trading during the season? Is trading allowed?

Thank you for your answers.
1) I believe keeper years reset once you decide not to protect a player. He'll get a full set of keeper years based on the "offseason draft keeper years" setting.
2) It's a setting, like I said. [2, 3, Random(2-3)] There's a setting for the start of the mode, and a setting for every subsequent offseason draft.
3) It's [2, 3, Random] + [Extra Rookie Keeper Years (0-25)] for rookies.
4) It does matter. We run the full NBA lottery logic, including tiebreakers via coin flip, and the admin has the option to rerun the lottery or set a custom draft order. The worst teams will have the best chance at a high pick on every round, and they should pick high on the 1st round too as long as they don't choose to protect a player ranked in the top 30 of the league.
5) Trading works the same as last year, with the option to have the admin vet the trade before allowing it, or not.

Another quickfire item:
- Edit Player/Prospect is only allowed by admins in MLO, but you can ask an admin to quickly give you admin rights so that you can go over whatever edits you need to make and then rescind those rights.

I thought I posted this earlier but I guess not. Leftos, do we know how many teams can be rebranded? And also can we trade the players we draft DURING the draft?

Leftos, would it be possible for you to confirm if Advanced rotations are in MLO gameplan? Thanks a lot!

Does anyone know if you can do custom online myleague sizes...last year my leagues struggled with being forced to play against cpu teams. Can you create Smaller leagues without 30 teams without cpu teams?

Start Today and Playoffs are separate modes though based on the MyLEAGUE experience, so you can't mix and match them with the MyGM experience. The answer is the MyGM engine needs to be fed data from the very start of the season, and we can't just drop you in on February 3rd and have it work. If there's a huge want for it, we can evaluate that in the future, but we wanted to bring it back bigger and better than ever, and we took extra care of making sure as many systems as possible work exactly as if you had played MyLEAGUE up to that point, as well as allowing you to start in the start of the next offseason when we hit the summer of 2017.

Some other quickfire answers:
- Only 2 jerseys per custom team.
- There's an expansion flow where teams get to protect players before the expansion draft. You can start with an expansion team both when using "start in regular season" and "start from previous offseason". You can start with 1-6 expansion teams to boot. The league and all the franchise features have been adjusted to work with any number of teams between 30 and 36.

thanks for answering my question!

When we start in regular season, Does that mean the team we enter into the season with is just with who we drafted in the expansion draft, and then the following year is the entry draft?

- Advanced Rotations should be in the MLO gameplan, yes.
- MyLEAGUE Online only supports 30 team leagues. No more, no less.
- When starting in the regular season with one or more expansion teams, there's a mini setup flow where teams get to protect players and then the expansion draft happens allowing the expansion teams to form a 13-man roster. After that, all subsequent offseasons are the offseasons you know, the expansion team isn't treated as any different.
