Pretty sure the filters were for the trailer, seeing that in the classic arena, they still had a 3-point line that didn't exist til 1980.

Shoes look great. Hopefully they'll still have room to add shoes over the course of the year again.

Regarding faces, it looks like they have increased the contrast, the sharpness and the details so much, that faces look good...but then may look weird. Players look 10 years older because of that. It's like, they tried to make everything look so good, that it's starting to look off (In other words, as I always say about McDonald's and all these foods: it's so good, that it's disgusting).

Sorta piggy backing on 23 but hopefully next year they'll do 3D scans of jerseys. Jerseys look alright this year, maybe a little better than last year, but they could use a nice make over.

23 I remember those years of people complaining about shoes. At least around 2k5. I didn't understand it back then because I was all about gameplay but I get it now. People just have different areas that are like thorns and their side that just digs deeper every year it goes untouched.

You should notice better detail and textures on the shoes than before

Things like straps on the back of the shoe stick out, and isn't auto pasted on the back with no space between it and the shoe.

The tongues aren't plastered on with the shoe.. that's why some tongues stick out above it. You even see stitches in the shoes. Take a look at non scanned shoes to see the difference.

This is why Live's shoes mainly looked a bit better than 2k's in the past. Texture and detail
