I was thinking about creating a Paint Protector, I love that 94 defence stats, interception and block but I fear that this archetype is very limited except that
LLD would be better than pp at park for defense

I logged about 75% of my experience Online using my 6ft6 220 Playmaker PG.

He's a nice all-around build. Recently, it's my 6ft4 Shot Creator who has become my goto player but I brought out the Playmaker last night and he still got the juice 🍍

Am I the only one that think that LDD are the only archetype that should have maxed 25 agility in their bar?

Slashers and playmakers are good defenders because of that. It gives the ability to do chase-down blocks and crazy blocks on big-men.

I feel like Athletic Finishers should have higher strength cap.

He has 74 strength and 75 speed. I maxed his shot off the dribble and dunks.
Nothing in mid and 3, he can hit those shots off the dribble
has 75 ball control for elite dribbles.
Can defend well enough, but I would like a tiny bit extra speed.
Lebron can give you a bit of trouble with his speed, but I can manage him well enough at Allstar level, haven't tried higher against him yet, but Superstar against others is fine. I'm stronger than most SF in the game, so I can post them up and dunk etc

Maybe a 6'6" - 6'7" 240lb SG slasher might be more to your liking
Has the acrobat badge, which you may like more. And extra speed
I might try that out. The way you built your guy looks like it works quite well. No points in standing mid or 3's allows more flexibilty. I like it.

Have you thought about a shot creator?
Plays quite similar. just not as good as dunks and layups, but better off the dribble shooting.
Quite weak though, so no post ups

has to be 6'6" or under to maintain elite dribbles
Probably the closest to the slasher/shooter combo

I'm building one now he feels like Wade/Kobe hybrid

From my experience with my Playmaker, I am not that good at creating a jumper off the dribble. If I can create space with my dribble, my first instinct is to drive. Now it may be the ratings, or it could be I don't practice them enough to get the shot timing down, or I could be just bad at them lol.

Try the Stiff shot, until I used the Stiff shot, I was terrible, but with the Stiff shot down, I can hit mid fades, and pullups off the dribble and green them 80-90% of the time on Superstar when I practise in MyCourt with a 75 moving shot rating.
The Stiff shot has much less horizontal motion, I just time it by eye and feel, rather than looking at the meter and it's good.
Also must have Difficult shots badge, at least a bronze, this kicks in any time you do a shot off the dribble.
Stepbacks, side hop jumpers using the left stick+X also count as off the dribble shots

I find dribbling from the freethrow line/midrange area across in a arc and ending at the baseline and doing a drifter right at that close shot/midrange border area is money for me everytime.
The defender thinks I'm going baseline for a reverse dunk or layup, so he's moving to cut that off, that leaves me open for the baseline drifter jumper.
And moving pullups in that free throw corners are also money, no matter if a green or not

As a slasher your going to need a dribble pullup to keep the D honest
