This was a problem last year. It's not as bad. Most of us are seeing the CPU put up 15-2os 3s per game which is slightly below average. Over my last 10 MyLeague games the CPU has put up 16, 21, 21, 18, 20, 22, 13, 21, 14, 14 and 30. Not bad, could be better.

Here is where it could be better. Generally, the CPU will shoot the 3 if left open. But they never hunt for 3s as NBA players do. They need to aggressively look for the 3, as Curry does below. Ask yourself how many times you've seen the CPU do this. Very rarely. It was the only 3 he took for the game. Need more.

I play 12. The video shows CPU doing a nasty stepback 3, which I rarely see from CPU Curry/Lillard/Durant and other star shooters.

I am using shady's sliders and they jack up a ton of threes...

Using my sliders (shameless plug, sorry), the CPU will take advantage of every mistake you make from deep. Stars will not only shoot open threes, but they will look for the three ball.

Against the Bulls, I went under a screen and he buried a three (48 s in the clip). In my next game against the Pacers, PG13 shot 8 threes, something you would never see with the default tendencies. In that game, the Pacers as a team only took 17 threes.

I agree with the OP... The problem is the game will never hunt for threes because of coding. It's a difference between shoot more threes and hunt for threes. Hunting for threes is more of a human element. 2k is getting better but you basically will have to alter the players tendencies so much that you take away other things. It would be nice if they add a tendency called hunt for threes lol
