Err, is there something wrong with 3pt shooting?

So ummm WTF is going on with 3pt shooting? Here's my stats:



I'm taking wide open, A- 3pt attempts and this is the result:

Meanwhile, on the CPU side, also wide open shots:






WTF? Those 3 have less than 75 3pt ratings, and yet they make a total of 6-7 from deep. Meanwhile I, with 95 rating, make 2-8 of my open shots?

Just an FYI, Curry is averaging 46% from deep.
This doesn't happen in just 1 game either, this has been going on for multiple games now.

EDIT:
After a few games with a different shooting animation, my shot percentage went up to where I expect it to be given my ratings.

So what happened was that the shot animation I chose before had a tendency to cause me to step on the line and do a very long 2 instead of a 3, which seems to have terrible percentage compared to either a normal long 2 or a 3. That's probably what caused my percentage to drop so low.

As for defense, I already said they were wide open A- shots. All 8 of them, in this match. And they're corner 3s, too.

Funny you show Darrell Arthur.... I was playing All Star Team Up and I subbed him in a game and lit it up. I ended the game with 17 points, 5/5 from 3PT.

The new rules of shooting don't seem to apply to the CPU, they still making jumpers like it's 2k15.

are u playing HOF? i am struggling with KD's perimeter shooting at HOF simulation sliders. novak, morrow and singler can shoot better. my stats is similar to wat u show eg 2 for 8!

i understand the window period to control the shot release is shorter as the level goes higher. it cant be i can shoot the others better than KD. he has 86 in standing 3. and i practise the shooting before game.

70 rating seems to indicate <30% from 3pt. 75 is around 30%.

And yet those players the CPU control makes 6/7 3pt shots. How the heck is that not broken?
