Game variety on Superstar/Sim

What are you guys seeing as far as game variety on Superstar/Sim?

I can consistently beat the CPU, but I haven't seen any big blowouts...

Just a few questions....

Have you you guys had a one guy hit 2/3 3's in a row? or as a team at all?

Have you guys seen the A.I go 4-5 possessions without a score?

Just wondering what you guys have experienced...

Cpu is completely unshakable. You can't get back to back to back stops i don't feel like. Say i hit a big shot or smash on someone's face in career, i get zero momentum boost. My team doesn't have any elite defenders but i feel as a team it's very frustrating that i can't get stops consistently. I'm a my career and park player exclusively until they fix pro am but I'm not feeling like the cpu ever gets "beat up" unless i jump out to a quick lead.

Re: Game variety on Superstar/Sim

I have been seeing a well balanced challenge on Superstar/Sim. Having great games against the elite teams, and the mid level teams giving me a run for my money if I'm not playing well. I have only blew out one team so far and that was the Suns, with my Clippers in My League

To answer your questions:

I have hit 2/3 3's here and there usually comes from Paul Pierce or JJ Redick when I run in transition.

And I have seen the A.I go plenty possessions without getting a score

Overall Superstar/Sim has been the ideal level to play on this year for me.

Re: Game variety on Superstar/Sim

I play with suns. I play superstar sim. Rarely hit open jumpers or see the computer hit jumpers in a row but they will consistently hit the open jumper. Liked 2k15 very much. Overall like this one, but they force the ball in the paint non-stop. The Suns have an elite point guard defender in Bledsoe. Elite paint protector in Chandler. I'm still unable to stop them inside. Only team with variety seems to be the Warriors who will attack your weakness. They will swing the ball to open spots, inside and out. Also these are the only games when I don't feel cheated after loss. I've been following Da Czar and Sam Pham You Tube videos for tips. Also practicing in freelance and scrimmage. I feel myself improving in skill, but not translating in wins. Da Czar recommend going to All Star Level to build up your skill level, but I blow out computer on that level and end up resorting to pick and rolls, because I am unable to hit shots consistently. I very much want to play sim ball. I'm thinking about adjusting sliders on Superstar, but don't want to do that until regular season comes. Afraid if adjust they will patch something in rosters and would be forced to adjust again. Sorry for the rant. Just been reading the boards and hear the frustration the other members have, but when voice your concerns they either think you bashing the game, or the dreaded get you stick skills up. I love the game, and just want to learn to play the game the right way. I can appreciate the work and little things that went into this edition. Actually Da Czar is inspiring me this year. Sorry for the long post.

I can only recall one real dry spell I was the Wizards and held the magic scoreless for about 4 possessions or so. It is like they purposely took out any of this happening for lack of a better word artificial difficulty or some ratings boost.

Here is what I see:

  • Definitely hasn't seen back to back 3's The CPU only takes threes if the are double and swing it to an open man.
  • Every single game I have played against the CPU has been close I am talking one to 6 points win or lose. I have had one overtime game and one double overtime game already.
  • You play good defense too good defense the CPU is going to get the offensive rebound and score.
  • You sag off a non threat the person you let go will free will get the offensive board almost always. It is like everything is coded to happen a certain way based off how you play even if it really shouldn't happen.
  • If you sag off any Ok shooter and they are open they are going to make it within a few possessions.
  • You play too good defense then the CPU will warp either a pass through you in traffic, warp through you dribbling air out of the rock or your CPU teammate will get back door cut one of those is going to happen.
  • You trap in the corner say baseline the CPU will turn his back and then through a laser pass on a line perfect to a cutting man that you doubled off like clockwork. All of these are programmed instances.
  • You make a FT on a deadball and someone is open for an easy layup lol. I just can't get good defensive stops with all of this foolishness happening
  • You beat a defender and he warps back in front of you man lol

Re: Game variety on Superstar/Sim

All I know is I'm tired of seeing myself build up a 12 point lead, get subbed out, and come back in down by 5 every damn game...

I'm on the Spurs and my backup is Tony Parker FFS, not like the team should fall into a canyon without me on the court for 3 minutes.
