We had a hoop in my alley in St. Louis. It stuck out of our backyard over a privacy fence. After 6 possessions, the game resembled hockey more than basketball. You don't know the definition of hard foul until you catch a blind hip check into a $!@#/# fence during a lay up.

These were games with extremely good friends. So yeah, all across the country

It's the same way up here at University At Buffalo. The amount of times a dude will call carry when they're about to lose is astounding lol

LOL so true and I've been on BOTH sides. The struggle is real when you look to the sideline and you see about 30 dudes waiting to go up next lol. My fav call was the ball tie up call where whoever called "my ball" first got it lol!

The patch is great, it prevents players from getting shots by unfairly getting "WIDE OPEN". I don't understand why people say fouls aren't called at the park in real life. Playing at the park is where I actually learned about basketball rules. I've heard "Ball don't lie" "Take that **** up top" " Doubles" "Carry" "Hacking" "Illegal screen" One to many times. There might not be whistles, but there are fist fights and arguments for unfair play.

Not sure I like how when your guy takes off for a dunk, it's like his movement speeds up, big time. Like, while in the air. The entire process speeds up.


Last year it was opposite...your player would go in 'slo-mo'. OK, not true slow motion, but he'd slow down.


I think it needs to be in the middle of those.
