Before I go further. I just want to say between what we've seen of the gameplay, the customisation and the game modes. This is the basketball game Ive been dreaming off since I was a little kid.

Thank you 2k. Especially to these dedicated devs that are constantly doubted and over criticised.

However.... and I SINCERELY hope I'm wrong about this...

Casual fans and popular youtubers will;

- Complain about defense being overpowered.
- Complain about not being able to take over a game (like last year with shot fatigue).
- Complain that the game is TOO real and not fun to play.
- Complain that you can't break guys ankles as easily.
- Complain that everything is in the CPUs favour (50/50 balls and the like).

2k will succumb to the pressure and by patch #2 a lot of this stuff will have been changed.

And that is when I will suck it up and play the game with no patches .

I don't think that will happen though, it seems they went out of their way to nerf all that BS this dev cycle. Seems real far fetched they'll go back in a change everything they worked so hard on this year.

Seems like sim gameplay was their MAIN focus and they put all their time and resources into it

Best thing is "the Jordan rules" are reportedly B.S that Pistons made up to make it sound like they had some grand scheme that was oh so complex (when in reality it was pretty simple). This got into the refs heads and they ended up calling the game differently (allowing Detroit to play MJ uber physically). Great psychological move. Head games.

Anyone who hasn't should definitely read the book "The Jordan Rules"

Pretty much contain Jordan and make the other guys beat them is the concept.

They hit him everytime he touched the ball and even double and triple teamed him to do it if they had to just to hit him
