What's left for 2k to improve graphically?

I know we have seen improvements in the competition as far as visuals go. It has me thinking about the areas that 2k needs to improve upon to really be the best looking basketball.

1. For me the most glaring need of an upgrade in visuals are the courts and crowds. There isn't a lot of detail in the hardwood floors compared to the other game. I want to see scuff marks, shadows and light bounce off from the court if that makes sense. I feel this would really give the game some life to the atmosphere.

Other areas of note
2. Lighting
3. Skin textures

I will give examples later but how do the rest of you guys feel about this area of the game?

Arenas. The arenas need the most work graphically. Take the New Orleans Arena (SKC) for example. The seats are way too high off the floor, way too steep, and way too dark. Lighting needs a major overhaul. The majority of arenas are very bright. On 2k, the crowds become very dark. Not every arena is like staples.

Not to compare the two, but I was playing my buddy's copy of Live recently just to get a feel for it and the first thing I noticed was the Arenas featured better lighting and was an overall better replica of the real thing. It was very impressive and slightly surprising. I'd love to see that in 2k.

I don't think there's any specific area in which I feel they need to improve graphically outside of created players generated by the game. Outside of that, I think they are pretty solid in the graphics front and I couldn't ask for more in that area.

Skin Textures and few player models could stand to look better, although it's good but it's not consistent across the board for all players. Arenas need to improve, the crowd lighting in particular just to dark for my taste (could be a stylistic thing though) Shoe textures need a major improvement 2k gets smashed by the competition in this area.

Theres some work left to do, have you ever watched games and seen that arenas have bespoke lighting, NY Knicks have an orange warm lighting, Mavericks have a bluish lighting. 2k has yet to include bespoke arena lighting this can improve the arena realism greatly.

Also it would be cool if jerseys could untuck also hair, more realistic movement like the cheerleaders, shoelaces that move and brighter courts. Players muscles that flex with every movement.
