in MyCareer, Do you play as your actual Height? why or why not?

Im realism OCD with sports games.

This is the first year Ive played mycareer.

Im a slow, 5'10 white dude in real life, so my character is aswell.

Often, I'd carve my player out to excel in similar attributes as my real life self. The fantasy, of course, is that I'd refined those skills well enough to find myself on the verge of the NBA. Nope, every year I try a new position and work on that positions skill sets. Each MyPlayer I create that year is modeled after a former player I used to watch when I grew up or someone that is playing well that I think could play better. 2 years ago I was a Dwight Howard - C. Last year I was NeNe - PF. This year I'm Reggie Miller - SG. Before I was an Allen Iverson - PG/ SG.

I try to avoid height, weight, stats like Jordan, Magic, Lebron. I just want to use someone unconventional.

I'm 6'4" and don't really enjoy playing as a true PG.

I made my guy 5'9" spontaneously, knowing damn well that I'm taller than that with basketball shoes on.

Lots of people aren't built to play anything but PG. I am 6'4', which helps because I can play my jump shooting SG but I always like making a PF or each year because that's basically what I do when I play pick up ball.

Nope. I'm 6-3 and never played organized ball (high school, college) but mostly pickup. I would set screens and focus on rebounding and defense and hit an occasional jumper. But I mostly played closer to the rim so I created a defensive PF, but there's no way I was going to be 6-3. So my guy is 6-10, which is what most PFs are.

When I play Road to the Show in MLB The Show, I create myself to scale. I did play organized baseball all the way through high school so I feel more like I am creating myself for baseball. In the NBA, the way I played in pickup games I would be more of a PF than a guard (I have ZERO handles in real life).

Im 6'0 and a big guy... So that wouldnt work in the NBA.. I like shooting the 3 ball though so I go and create a 6'5" 225lb SG.. I can help crash the glass and also be there to take the 3 when needed..

If I make a PG I use my normal height, any other position I'll make myself a little taller. I'm 6'2.5"
