Hey guys, I've been playing quick games for a while and have run into an issue. When I play as the Cavs, or anyone for that matter, the AI is not running the offensive sets automatically like was advertised before the game was released. Everyone just stands around and I have to call my own pick and rolls or plays to get any type of movement.

Is there a setting I need to access to activate this or is it only in like MyGM or MyLeague?

You can put automatic playcalling on. Or you can press L1 for the AI to choose a play it thinks would be good to run. Or you can put freelance plays on by pressing d-pad left, R1/RB and selecting your offensive set and freelance action.

does the team automatically freelance in MyPlayer mode? If so is there a way to see it?

Depends on the team, but from what I gather it's usually set to motion offense so you won't see full plays being run from the freelance.

If and when someone gets the on-court coach badge they might be able to change it, there's really no info on that.

Go into coach settings and turn play art to show all and full.

In the motion sets your teammates sometimes wait for you to get in position before it'll run the set. Having the play art on will let you know where to be

Dont call plays for freelance offense to run.

As someone above said, you can choose which one you want them to run.

If you want picks and stuff, Miami's pace and space is a good one to choose.

Be patient and watch the guys move

To add to 23's comment, it also takes a few seconds for them to start running the freelance option. So if you come down the floor, just wait a few seconds and they should start moving and making some kind of play.

I have been using this for the past couple games and i have been scoring a lot more I like it. My only issue is that they dont start movement until about 12 on the shot clock and sometimes i end up taking bad shots cuz im out of time. Da Czar said that you have to initiate the pass to a certain player to start the motion, but how do you know which player to make the first pass to?
