No. You don't have to finish games to get badges. I've sim'd a couple of games after playing a good Quarter and received badges. I also noticed if I do sim games though, some spots in my hot and cold zones normalize more frequently when I sim than when I play the whole game, just pure speculation though. (Everything is red inside the 3-Point line for me, lol)

Do you still unlock the stat upgrades if you sim to the end of the game?

You might want to try some post moves to get your defender off balance and you may be a bit too close to the baseline to operate from.

Played like 6?games no spin Layin or killer crossover yet. I've earned 24 badges my first season near the end of the playoffs

Just got killer crossover and fade ace!

All I did was full court running crossovers from the inbound to the midrange area. Once I got to the midrange area I took a standing fadeaway. I did this around 30 times in 1 game.

I almost got 8 second violations a few times lol
