Re: 2K15 Post Your Facescan Thread

I'm Asian and it is impossible to get the best lighting situation. Too much light I come out white. Too little I come out black. Any suggestions??

What kind of lighting/setup did you use?

I didn't do anything special really. I actually covered the window on the one side of the room with a blanket, because it was washing out the one side of my face (as you can see in the picture). Other than that, I just had daylight from the other windows and the front door.

Re: 2K15 Post Your Facescan Thread

sometimes mine looks alright, but in-game I look like phantom of the opera. I just can't handle any light difference in the room and sucks at getting blown out too easily making 1/3 of my face literally white.

I'm in film and television and even brought a green-screen home to reduce the depth and potential darkness in the room by shrinking it.

The bottom line is that some people's situation just works a lot better than others. I said previously the camera should iris down and keep the whole face in correct white balance and not care about anything else in the room. It seems to recognize a face, so I don't see why it wouldn't be able to auto-iris for your face only.

The 'shadow' side of my face always comes out more or less correctly, I've even tried creating shadow in front of me but it's hard to juggle all this. Def jumping through hoops for this - RB6 Vegas 1 did a better job almost a decade ago.
