I wonder how low Corey Joseph, Aron Baynes and Austin Daye will be rated?
Baynes is currently un-signed not probably not part of these ratings.

Just about every player listed was < 60 OVR last year and Daye was 63 last year. My initial guess would be he scales with the rest and jumps to something like 68/69.

Re: NBA 2K15 Player Ratings - #424 - #401

glad to hear the raps won't be shafted as per usual, just like in the real NBA with officiating! (zing!)

But usually players in the past that have been less known or haven't proved themselves are penalized in unrealistic ways.

A lot of times these guys are YOUNG, but to get their overall rating down they are made to be slow with low agility etc. Even Jonas V last year was rated I believe a 68 OVR and was very slow and athletically bad. In real life, like a lot of bigmen, he can stop and change directions while running super fast, but he can get up the court and catch alley-oops for dunks at times (I've witness live) and has soft hands, and can do post moves quickly and block shots. In the game he was like a big, slow old man, but in reality he's fairly quick for a big guy and is like 22 years old.

I'm glad these are the lowest ratings, because NBA players on the bench or whatever can still make layups and get up the court and contribute. I felt like last year you had a lot of bench players 'load up' too long to make a layup and miss it, it's like at time they are poor high school players lol
