Patch 4 was my last hope for this problem. 2K will never fix the problems with the highlight videos after the game.

Check your notifications, scroll down to 'downloads', and it'll be there if the PS4 automatically downloaded it.

If not, then start 2K14 and it should prompt you to download it.

I am on xbox one and the patch has been terrible for me. I cannot post new threads probably because I'm new to the forums. (can anyone confirm???)

Anyways I feel the need to say this make sure everyone knows so here goes.

"preparing rosters for use" ***GLITCH***

I have been having this issue since patch 4 xbox one.

When I load the game before the intro video it will say "preparing rosters for use". When this happens the game doesn't load the new rosters. Does not allow NBA today highlights to work. And the new jerseys are unavailable.

This Glitch occurs 95% of the time when attempting to load the game.

I uninstalled and installed the game multiple times and unplugged the console multiple times to clear the cache. THIS IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE A SOLUTION. IT's a server side issue on their end. ***2k servers=garbage***

I called 2K support and they said "it may have to do with my wireless connection and a hard wired connection could fix the issue".

I continued by saying that my wireless connection was good on last gen, let alone next gen, and that it is not an excuse as to why the game does not function properly. NO WHERE ON THE BOX DOES IT SAY A ETHERNET CONNECTION IS REQUIRED!!!!!! All my other games work fine and a wired or wireless connection should work for any xbox 1 title. The next gen console defaults to a wireless connection, its 2014 and 2K's excuse is poor at best!!!!!

It's lame excuse for their terrible servers.

When the "preparing rosters for use" glitch occurs, I can still play online games with other players that also have the wrong rosters. THE AVERAGE PLAYER MAY NOT NO THE ISSUE EXISTS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT AWARE OF THE UP TO DATE ROSTERS, and don't realize that the the rosters are wrong.

I have spoken with many players who have this issue and I can confirm its a wide spread issue. I have reason to believe that a majority of people play with the wrong rosters every day AND DON'T EVEN REALIZE.

The 5% of the time the "preparing rosters for use" message doesn't show the game loads properly. THE GAME ONLY WORKS PROPERLY 5% (1/20) OF THE TIME!!!

I will finish by saying that the SERVER ISSUES ARE ON GOING, and the game is BETA at best. The game suffers regularly from lag, input lag, and sudden random disconnects from the rare lag free game.

The game is BROKEN in so many ways i cannot possibly give it more than 3/10 in its current state, mind u this is MONTHS AFTER LAUNCH.

THE GAMING industry as a whole is screwing over the consumer by constantly releasing unfinished game after unfinished game. EVERY year its takes even longer for the 5 or so patches to get the game to be at least playable.

WHAT A JOKE, we need lawsuits and lemon laws in the industry.
Can you imagine paying full price for any other product that doesn't work as advertised for months on end????????????????????

NO BECAUSE ITS ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
