Workaround for roster reset in Season Mode

Ok so i just started a MYGM for season mode with my bulls. I began going through rotations for other teams placing Bargnani into the PF spot instead of Amare, placing Rondo and Noel on the IR (well the last spot on the roster) and fixing a couple of other team rotations only to realize after playing a game none of these correction i made stayed.

I realized something by editing Noel and JRich. Placing Noel at PF and JRich at SF then go back to the PHI rotation place Hawes and Anderson into the starting lineup it works, well JRich and Noel aren't on the IR like i placed them but they are not in the starting lineup anymore either. This does not work with every team, and i know it's because you can't change players roles.

Im trying to see if anyone has found some type of workaround into this rotation issue. If not please Leftos whenever patch #4 comes out please find some way to fix this so that the rosters stick whenever someone implements a change to a teams rotation.

Are you saying editing other teams players in season mode allows you to set these teams rotations?

Pretty much, my thinking was if we play season mode we can edit other teams rotations minutes and so forth, but thats not happening.

Yes, I have run into this issue as well and it sucks. A tease to be able to edit rotations for other teams and they don't stick. I haven't found a workaround myself, which is why I can't see myself running a season in this game. 2K devs, if you are listening, please address this issue.

This isn't an issue since you are not supposed to be able to change rotations for other teams this year. If anything, the fact that they "tease" that you can do this is a glitch.

I myself got sick of this problem so I went ahead and edited ratings all to 25 for any player that will miss the season or is out for a month or so, I just re edit the ratings using NBA Bound 25's spreadsheet when they become available again, it kind of gives me a realistic rotation for each team.

UPDATE: Erick Boenish, AKA SimBaller had this to say...

For those curious about MyGM mode, know this. I only covered about 5% of what this mode is at the press event. This was a bigger media event, one where a large number of the attendees aren't exactly highly interested in the meat and potatoes of a mode like this. I simply provided an overview of what our philosophy was.

We'll be going into MUCH more detail (you know I will take care of you guys here) on what we've done in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.

The takeaway you should have right now is MyGM is Association on steroids. Multi-user had to take a backseat for a minute while we rebuilt the entire foundation of how a franchise mode works. I assure you, this is all for the greater good. Leftos and I will make sure you're all happy at the end of the day.

SimBaller

P.S. For those who aren't into the concept of interacting with staff, players, etc., a Season mode (with variable season lengths) IS available so you can just focus on playing games and moving players around where you see fit.

What do you think of no multi-team control offline in 2K14 next-gen?

I first saw this back in October from MMChrisS when he posted it and i thought this was the answer to association mode this year.
