New York should blow it up now before it gets worse. Amar'e isn't playing with any type of want to, it's like his desire is gone. Melo has had some bad games, because no one else is playing with any effort and it's weighing him down. Tyson just isn't what he should be and these fake injuries ever other game is showing the lack of wanting to play for New York. So with your whole team feeling and expressing their displeasure it seems it's time to blow it up.

New Orleans just lost Davis for the season. Plus Eric Gordon is Taking time away from Tyreke Evans which is slowing down their offense, getting rid of Gordon will open the court for more players to make plays, because Gordon's a black Whole. They have a need for someone in the post while Anderson is firing 3's, Amar'e is a perfect fit, in addition it would probably show his All-Star caliber self for the first time in 3 seasons.

Oklahoma City has a big lack of defense in the post, Perkins is long in the tooth so why not try to better your team, especially seeings how the team is regarded as potential NBA Champions. This transaction would put them in the Western Conference Finals for sure.

76ers need anything right now with 4 players out for the season or most of the season, they need a restart fast. Who better to go with Hawes and Carter-Williams than Melo? 76ers would give up a 1st Rounder for the upcoming draft but they have 2 more to spare. They wouldn't be giving up much other than Evan Turner, which is a hindrance to the 76ers offense, because since Iguodala left he feels the need to do to much which he's not good at doing.

Hawks well this trade is nothing more than a swap of Shumpert for a draft pick even though the Knicks would get Mack and Scott, but they would get cut. The Hawks would get better at perimeter D and a player that can slow down LeBron and Wade, which gives him great value.

Note these transaction free up about 28 Mil leaving them 1 Mil over the cap. Knicks would most likely get better after these transactions. Plus they get 2 Mid level expiring contracts. Which helps the next seasons salary cap by about 10 Mil and potentially able to free up more cap for one of next seasons All-Star Free Agents with new players from the upcoming draft. Understandably Knick fan's will be appalled by this but me as an impartial party being a lifetime Trail Blazers fan I would blow it up now like Portland did in the late 90's. Leave your comments would love to see what you think.

Re: What Should the Knicks Do? I have a solution.

Why the heck would the 76ers dump a blossoming Evans and future picks for a half year rental of Melo? That ruins both their Wiggins tank and the nice pick they've got coming from NO.

Why would the Pellies trade away Gordon and decent pieces for the corpse of Amare? He's done. Why would they make their record worse when they don't even get to keep their pick next year (that would conveniently go to the Knicks in this scenario)?

Why would the Hawks trade away what's going to be a very nice pick from the Nets in a deep draft just for Shumpert?

Thunder probably do that deal though.

The rest of these GMs need be fired.

People are projecting this to be a deep draft. But it's only deep to about pick 8 with a few stars. Otherwise it's nothing but roll players. 2015 Draft is going to be deeper.

Melo wouldn't be a rental for a half season, that 23 Mil for the next season he wont turn down.

And if you watch some Knicks games Amar'e isn't done, he's playing with no desire. If he joined a team that doesn't have a post log jam like the Knicks he could dominate.

Gordon has been in a slump in a jammed up backcourt. He's a mid range monster and a cutter off screens and pick and roll type player, with one of the smallest team in the NBA. Which he can't do cause of that reason.

And the pick going to the Knicks from the Pelicans owned by the 76ers isn't conveniently going to them. Cause with Davis out for the season and the Pelicans getting Amar'e a team with no low post presence he would finally get a opportunity to play his game with 3 players that taking up his spot on the court. And the Pick would be the 14th pick not as low as you think.

Nets pick owned by the Hawks will be the 17th pick most likely. And Iman Shumpert on a team that has 1 backcourt player who can play defense, would help that 9-9 team to the playoffs which isn't highly likely with the roster they have right now.

Fact of the matter is, I don't think any team would be foolish enough to take on Amares contract. Knicks screwed themselves in that regard big time
