Top 10 serious reasons why Online is NOT enjoyable

Im refering to Online Quick Match only:

1) Playbook system is a complete mess. Those assigned Online playbooks are totally different from those assigned Offline playbooks. There is no way to practice the Online playbooks. Sometimes they are random. We can NOT save playbooks and we can NOT put the playbooks in the order we wanna 'em. Big dissappointment.

2) Roster updates horribly out of date. The daily-updated roster promise was a joke (black humor). By the way, i think its illegal to promote a product feature and not delivering it.

3) Online is a 3pts cheese fest. Please tone it down a little bit (at least the contested 3pts shots). Its more easy to rain 3's than a mid J. Thats why everybody run to the 3pt line almost every single posession. The average 3pt shots attempted are almost 30 shots per game. Shame!!! Example: kids, casuals and cheesers just push the buttom with Durant, Paul George, Reddick, Melo, and its an automatic 3 no matter how strong your D is.

4) Overrated players. There are particular players that are on steroids, play the whole game with no sub, sprinting, and make contested shots and a lot of and-1's practically automatic. They are goos in real life, but for Gods sake,,,,tone down a little bit their Rambo skills (Paul George, Durant, Westbrook, Granger, Melo)

5) Defensive settings for each player is gone. Nuff said. Big regression in this game.

6) Coach sliders are gone as well. 2k keeps deleting features with no reason.

7) We can NOT see players fatigue in the quick menu screen on-the-fly this year. Sadly, we need to call a timeout in order to see each players fatigue. Sad sad sad.

8) No community feeling. Meaning: no Leaderboard, no competition spirit, no ranking system, no lobbies, no complete stats for our next opponents

9) We can NOT see our opponents DNF% (Did Not Finish %). This promotes poor sportmanship
because quitters will not have any punishment when quitting. If DNF% is displayed before a game, they will have serious consequuences and problems getting a match. Nobody wants to play a quitter and 2ksports shall discourage the Poor Sportmanship.

10) Let us SAVE the important features to Online (roster lineups, playbooks, coach sliders, defensive settings, inbound playbooks)

Conclusion: if you are an online gamer, note that 2k14 next gen is NOT for you (unless a miracle happens in the next patch which i doubt it).
Again, huge disappointment here.

Sounds like the worst 2K online experience since 2K10 but at least it didn't have most of those problems. BTW, I don't think we've been able to save our playbooks since 2K11 and even then it would only carry over for one game and then you would have to do it all over again.

Good list though. This is like an online manifesto. Everything that is and has been wrong with 2K's online over the past 5 to 7 years is perfectly summarised here. In fact, we should tweet this link to LD2K and Ronnie 2K. Just use #FixOnlineRanked and send it to them with a link to this thread.

I agree with most of what you said. #1 totally screws you over if you don't have many players that can easily create off the dribble/PNRs. I can't believe they market this as a simulation of real life when you can't even use plays properly..

Lol if we send it to l2dk or ronnie2k, all we will get is "it's in the pipeline"

Is online laggy for any of you guys? My 50Mbps FiOS feels like 2Mbps. Besides this and everything eles, this game is not enjoyable online. Oh yeah and the CPU defenders tip or steal literally every pass while the human player stand around off ball.

Yeah its terrible online
