If I miss it during the game when it shows on the top left of the screen, is there any way to see the goal if you miss it? Ex- click a button and you cant read it anymore

You used to be able to, but I don't see a way to do it on the next gen games at all

on the score board (right hand of your tv), once in a while it flashes it.... i know this sucks because in 2k13 you can see it anytime.
