Would you recommend 2k14 NG?

I can't tell whether this game is solid or not. There seems to be no in between. It is either, "This game is amazing!" or "This is BS! Screw 2k!"

It sort of depends on your preferences. That's why the opinions seem so black and white. The roster editing is limited, and there's no create a player. That turns off a lot of people that would probably love the game if it were in the game.
People that don't mind the limited options seem to adore the game. I would like to be able to create players, but I can accept that it's probably not in the game for technical reasons. Because of that, I have barely been able to stop playing.
So it comes down to what you enjoy; if you can enjoy MyCAREER and MyGM without some features that we've come to love in the series, then it can be the best basketball game you can experience.

There are a few issues that have plagued it early on, such as with the 2k Servers. But it's sort of expected what with it being a launch title.

Thank you so much! A response that is reasonable!

I do create players every year and it is always a big association of mine, but I can live without it. Looks like I will be getting it.

Thanks again.

This pretty much covers it. It's a next gen launch game and feels as such. Looks beautiful, and is generally a new-feeling experience compared to the somewhat sameness of the past several iterations of the CG game.

The price of it being a launch title is the customization of the game is very scaled back and limited, to the point where you pretty much have to accept the game for what it is. If you are into total customization, you aren't going to enjoy the restrictions of the game.

Re: Would you recommend 2k14 NG?

While customization is lacking, the game is simply awesome.

On court is fantastic, and absolutely beautiful. To handle the ball in this engine is a blast. Presentation is OFF THE CHARTS. As someone who has played 2K for a very long time, it just feels so much better on PS4. The movement, the physics and the entire game on the court feels so right.

I'm liking MyGM mode to, I like the extra immersion it provides. I get bored with the same ole' franchise mode, so the extra added conversations/RPG style elements are a nice addition for me.

I would absolutely reccomend this game.
