NBA 2K25 MyNBA Eras

Hey guys, on 2K24 its my main mode! I think i never play ONE actual NBA game on 2K24, only Eras, i love this one... I haven't buy 2K25 yet, I'm deciding to get the PC or PS5 version.

Anyways, i have some questions about MyNBA Eras on 2K25, please, if u play this mode, help-me:

- Presentation: 2K update presentation Eras for new game? Because in 2K24 it´s too simple.

- Jerseys: In some shots, i see old bigger shorts are back, for 90 and 2000 seasons, it´s correct?

- Playoffs logo on courts: Playoffs logo sign is in the game? Or not?

Thks! Lets use this topic for all MyNBA Eras questions and answers?

Re: NBA 2K25 MyNBA Eras

If they haven’t fixed the rebranded and jersey issues in ERAS I’ll probably just skip this year. Adding just FIBA and a redundant era isn’t enough right now for me to drop $70.

Re: NBA 2K25 MyNBA Eras

Apart from the Curry Era, nothing new was added into myERAs. Players removed, same jersey issues, rotation glitches abound and gameplay for historic players doesn’t look at all that different apart from some small changes. It’s literally a copy and paste job for ERAs.

I’m still playing well on 2K24 on PS5. I’m an offline player only too and I’ll be getting 2K25 when it’s on sale. At that point most of the glaring glitches will be patched. Ain’t no way I’m paying $75 for a glorified roster update. Again for PC users though, this year is your year.

Re: NBA 2K25 MyNBA Eras

As it stands, MyNBA is borderline unplayable due to the rotation issues. Players do not sub out properly and starters play 48 minute games frequently. Can’t recommend the mode until this is fixed.

I'm overly worried about the rotation issue because I expect a patch to remedy that, but as strictly a Kobe era player it sounds like there is zero reason to purchase this year.

Is that accurate?

Re: NBA 2K25 MyNBA Eras

I was watching gameplay or eras and the mocap movements and animations honestly don’t look much smoother or better to me than what I’m used to on 2K23. It looks like roughly the same game to me and I like how the court graphics in 23 look better (maybe the player models in 25 have a slight improvement due to different lighting). Though I don’t know how many new sigs have been added for legends in the past couple years cause I stopped playing 24 due to hating the graphics.

It’s in stark contrast to the modern era with proplay which does show a visual improvement in smoothness and quality to me. Though 25 has an issue with all animation styles where often the ball won’t touch the floor while dribbling.

I did notice Jordan has a nicer sideways running fade than I’m used to in 23 (but maybe that was added in 24) and that’s really all that stuck out to me gameplay wise. In 23 his cross court running fade is kinda stiff while in 25 (and maybe 24) he actually fades a bit backwards and kicks his leg out.

25 also doesn’t allow broadcast cam in my practice or freestyle mode which sucks.

ALSO someone said they took away the great Kobe scan from his prime years in 2K25 that they added in 2K24??

Yeah that Kobe face with the fade hair and goatee is gone. 2K actually patched the new face in last year for 2K24. It became the stock face for the Kobe Era Bryant on the Lakers. Such a shame it’s already gone.
