Boxscore design is horrible and a waste of space

I was really looking forward to see more players at once glance compared to old gen where you only saw 3 players at once and thus needed 8-10 screenshots to archive the games (which is mandatory in our online league).

Now you see 9 players at once but the columns are cut off at 3pt meaning again you need to save more screenshots than necessary....

This is how it curretnly looks

and this is how it would be a much better use of the given space to show as much as possible

2K DESPERATELY needs to invest in UI and design aesthetics for the next game. it's been long enough w trash generic menus. makes the entire product feel cheap.

I work in UI/UX and laughed when I saw the screenshots because I'm pretty sure that came at the advice of someone following a current trend of limiting "line length" or how much info is presented horizontally to ease the cognitive load.

Problem is, that theory makes sense when applied to reading long sentences on a static site page, not when consuming box score data. If they actually showed this to users my guess is 99% of people would prefer to be shown as much at once as possible--especially considering the screen capture scenario like OP mentioned.

you want to know what the result of this is? instead of 5 screenshots of every game (2x player stats per team + teamstats) we now need 9 screenshots of every game to archive ALL player and team data. also if you transfer the stats to our google sheets, instead of entering 9 players and then having to switch to the next screenshot you have to switch back and forth AFTER EACH PLAYER. do you know how annoying this is? and it couldve been fixed very easily. and there is really no reason why it is like that.
