Re: Preload date

Ppl with slow internet also are more likely to have a data cap. So instead how about 2K optimize their game or be like Call Of Duty and let you pick what to download. Reduce size. CFB 25 IS less than 40gb

Re: Preload date

OK so I have a question as I've never preloaded a game before.

I pre-ordered it and my retailer says they will provide a key once the game is released, but if I understand correctly the pre-load only works if you have a key?

Do I have to pre-order it from steam directly or can it be any online retailer I want? If it's the latter, how do I go about pre-loading it as it's Sept 3rd now? Thank you.

PC doesn’t have preload. That’s probably why PC is getting it 8 hours ahead of console: https://www.reddit.com/r/NBA2k/comme...nsoles_get_it/

Re: Preload date

150gb is insane. Gotta imagine the City and all the online stuff accounts for a large chunk of that.

Am I crazy, or was one of the major selling points for the new-gen consoles that they were supposedly going to offer the option of only downloading and installing the portion of a game that you actually planned on using? So that online users could save space by not installing the offline campaign data, and offline users could get by without the bloat from online modes?

I swear that was a thing, but I haven't seen a single example of that yet this generation.

Yeah, it’s big. The actual download will be smaller though. 2K Intel is reporting 130-ish GB for XBox. Probably similar for PS5 & PC.
