Nba 2k14 petition

I have played nba 2k14 today on Xbox series X and it’s still the best 2k. Can someone please explain to me how a 10 year game is still better than the new stuff. Everything from the lighting, colors, animations, fluidness of jerseys is still unmatched.

I feel like 2k need to go back to whoever those developers where or whatever software they were using for that game and implement in back into the new game. 2k24 is a good game but it’s still not better than 2k14. I feel like 2k have slowed down in development due to lack of competition. 2k14 was way ahead of it’s time

when will the next time they beat 2k14 or get back to the greatness of that game?

I disagree. I play 2K14 game often and the game has improved in so many way ways that are glaring the more time you spend with it. When you play an older game, there are inherently less expectations and nostalgia fills in the gaps.

That said, It’s in my top 3 all time.

I still play my modded version frequently…and it is still has one of the most active mod communities.

I imagine your comment still stands, but I'm guessing he means the new-gen 2K14, not the one that can be modded (old-gen).

Yea, I am talking about the next gen version

So you're talking about the XB1/PS4 version which was the first one of that gen.

Do you like the sheen/ graphical style of NG 2K14 or did you actually prefer the gameplay?

I always felt like LG 2K14 was amazing from a technical standpoint and culmination of all the previous years build up…

I like the graphical style and animations from that game. Everything was perfect. They need to go back to that game and remake it for 2k25
