Next year put fast breaks into pro-play please!

Fast breaks been dead since next Gen
I'm wondering if 2k can add fast breaks into Pro-Play

Realistic animated fast breaks from run N gunning Steve Nash passing to Barbosa layups
Real showtime Lakers fast breaks

That gimmick was most likely only used to sell this years game. Would be surprised if we hear anything substantial on that front again unless they have taken another year off and need a selling point again

I still can get 20 fastbreak points in a game which made the game more fun for me. It’s a particular way to trigger them but I will admit I wonder what happened because you do not see this issue in old NBA 2Ks. I’ve been playing NBA 2k8-2k10 and it isn’t an issue in those games. NBA 2k9 has better fastbreaks than all of the next gen 2k’s and that game is mediocre compared to all of the older 2K’s.

Fastbreaks began to get weird when 2K started to adjust for the space and pace era, where more and more teams were beginning to flare out to the 3 point line on break and it started to be a common complaint that they weren’t doing so enough…

Whatever fixes do happen with fast breaks, it really has nothing to do with Pro Play..

To the people that claim they get enough fastbreak points i want to say yes , the cpu may register those buckets as "fastbreak" points but the speed and fluidity of the fastbreak is flat out pathetic!
Players stumble and crawl to the other side and i sont get the fastbreak feeling like really breaking away because there is always contact and players catching up with warp animations so im really disappointed i cant make use of my fast players and finish fastbreaks.

And all that pro play selling point marketing scheme i didn't trust it from day 1 knowing how 2k promotes it's product approaching release day 🤣
