Just How many players and jerseys are locked behind myteam?

So I’m a avid mynba player it and park are the only gamemodes I touch every year.

But i seen in the era’s thread that myteam has lots of locked away content compared to the rest of the game so my question is how much content is actually locked away?

2k is taking Many assets from MT and adding it to Mynba this year so I was curious.

I heard all of the All-Star jerseys are in MT but I hope sleeve jerseys make a appearance they already have some adidas era jerseys still.

I wonder if you can stop the cavs or jazz rebrands if you sim to 2022 or will the sonics get nike logos if you decide to keep them in Seattle

Wait, there are locked Uniforms and players in MyTeam only?

I heard of players years ago, but not so much about the uniforms. Can someone confirm this? I seen created jerseys all the time but not like real deal stuff

I don’t think any are locked it’s just that 2K is sometimes too lazy to update the rosters outside the mode. For example JR Smith got put into MyTeam this year but he’s not on the 2016 Cavs or 2012 Knicks rosters.

I'm sure there are players "locked" for MyTeam because the throwback cards tend to have players that don't necessarily have a featured team specific to their playing career, outside of the mode. Guys like Bob Pettit and George Mikan come to mind, as there aren't any historic teams available in Play Now that would feature them (aside from the All 60s team).

I doubt uniforms are though, every uniform already featured is able to be used outside of MyTeam. It's more likely that you see people using custom uniforms.

I am carefully optimistic that all assets 2K had will be released onto offline rosters this year. That means all the historic missing players, coaches, different player models hopefully will be available for use outside of myTEAM. I have been posting about how 2K should let us use these unreleased assets since 2K21. With this year’s overhaul of rosters, hopefully they are all in
