Agame,

I have enjoyed using your sliders the past 3-4 years with this game and I'm excited to dive into this years game with your sliders and also with this addition of the defensive settings you provided. I did have one question though below ...

CPU Help Defense and Pick and Roll Defense Adjustments to have a more Realistic game of NBA Basketball

Go to GAMEPLAN, Then Defensive Settings. Change ON Ball Pressure and OFF Ball Pressure to TIGHT , then Change HEGE SWITCH and HEGE(CENTER)to Catch ALL, then On Ball Screen and Center Screen to GO OVER, then STAY ATTACHED all of them to NO,,,change POST to 3/4 BOTTOMS, then DOUBLE TEAM POST to DIG

You're referring to the defensive settings for the team that I would be using correct? I play MyNBA only and have control of all 30 teams, but I only play as my Lakers. I just control all 29 other teams as far as injuries, signings, trades, releases, hirings and firings go.

So the defensive settings I only would apply them to the Lakers games I play correct?

Hello EagleRock;

Since you control all the teams, I would recommend using a variety of Defensive setting against your team the Lakers by setting the CPU scheme up to better defend you. There are 10 or more Defensive Settings schemes, suggestions on youtube or other sites for better PNR defense or defense in general. I recommend trying them all out and when you play another team setting their Defense Setting, as team and then on individual players too; thus getting a lot of different results. Set up both your Lakers and who you are playing against. Change it up.

I also use the Coach Defensive settings for each individual player, often to automatic, but one or more players with a change just to get some variety and better defense out to the CPU and my team. For Example against the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo I set Double team Perimeter on DRIVE for him. I do this with star players that do get double teamed often when they drive IRL. It helps. It's a shame that 2k changed the HELP Defense in the game - it is very weak now, By changing things up with the Defensive Settings for both teams you will see better defense. (NOT nearly as good as it was when 2k launched).

I play with Drive Cam the most, but I also play the other two below about every third game to change it up.

Latest updates (no patch) have improved the defense for PNR to some degree.
Overall Defensive is better. Changes coming, Made a few on Page 1, still dialing in. But my career requires that I how up to work. Will post when I have more games.
