I have a question. If I were to lower the strength slider, would it lower the effectiveness of screens, especially off ball screens? I have an ongoing Warriors franchise and it's way too easy to get an off ball screen for either of the splash brothers and nail a quick 3

i dont think you can just tap the button and expect to make a shot. i think you still have to hold the button down and release like you normally would, but timing is not the determining factor in whether or not you make the shot. its based on the players ratings in regards to what kind of shot you took, and if you were open or contested etc.

and the purpose of using real shot % is just to get more realistic results. sometimes with shot timing the game can either be too easy or too hard. for me personally i found it very hard to make threes but very easy to score in the paint. so im hoping making the switch to real shot % might help.

Playoff sliders are still a work in progress but when complete are designed to be used in playoff games

question about training and progression. (im on ps4 using the ATD roster)


i noticed you have your progression slider lowered and the regression slider raised. i tried it out for the first season in my myleague. i was using an expansion team and i decided to simulate the first season, but i still set all my players training individually to work on various skills throughout the season and i had most of my players training intensity set to "very high". i also used the vets on my team to mentor the younger players.

even after doing all of that, i saw little to no progression from my young players(they pretty much all had B potential as well).

am i doing something wrong with my training or what? how do you guys train your players and get good results, even with the progression slider lowered? i guess i just dont get it.

EDIT: ughhhhh i just realized i forgot to tweak the assist slider in the offseason like CelticLG said to do. damn that pisses me off i really dont want to start over lol.

DOUBLE EDIT: nevermind i just checked and i had my assist setting set to 44 which means i didnt keep it at 0 during the offseason. so i guess my original question still stands lol sorry guys.
