This is why I haven’t touched this franchise in years. Of course I decided this was the year to try and get back into it, but they aren’t doing themselves any favors. As it stands I own a $70 digital paperweight.

Been using your MyNBA setup, whenever I sim to the end of games I get some wacky scores. Also +140 and ridiculous numbers and such. Is this a bug?

Posting here in case others have the same question and don’t view that other thread:

For Play Now, this is only an option in the Coaching Profiles under Points of Emphasis. You can go to Settings > Create Roster > 2k Roster, then just R2 over to POE and set the Defensive Aggressiveness to Play Physical.

Just an fyi, POE only affects sim stats from what I see. Play phisical defense will help your win% during sims, while play conservative defense do the opposite. I use this trick to make realistic teams records at the end of the season (for example last year default 2K roster would put the Hawks in the Po every single time, with “conservative defense” they’ll always miss them). The rest is placebo, or at least it was until 2K20, never tried with 2K21
