Re: Eggie2.0 Slider-set Feedback Only Thread

Hello guys, just created this account after I've been closely watching Eggie's roster on the PC platform. The number of updates really make me think he means business lol. I will try these sliders in a bit. Meanwhile, could you please recommend a custom roster for the PC version of the game? The market is pretty weak and the default 2k tendencies look like polo players made this game.

Thanks. I tried but I'm currently burnt out lol. I hope someone can help you to find a good pc roster. I actually use my pc laptop more than my ps4 due to mods.

Tried this Eggie2.0 sliders with real shooting % and 12 min quarters. Managed to get only to the halftime because of my limited time yesterday. They felt very good, the flow of the game was great. The rebounds were a bit off though. By the Halftime, a guy like Brook Lopez already had 10 rebounds for some reason. Will test some more

Thanks. Games vary for me with rebounds. So many circumstances come into play like positioning, amount of misses, height, vertical, rebound ratings, sets being ran, etc. As long as the games look and feel good, that's what really matters. I've had games where a guy like DeAndre Jordan would have 20 rebounds and others where he would have 8. It really varies. I could tinker with it more though.

Re: Eggie2.0 Slider-set Feedback Only Thread

I've been using Crewe's sliders mostly and only realized you did a set on

Real % shooting so i have given them a whirl for the last couple of games.

First off, they are very good.

The stats for both of these games were nearly spot on.

I play 6min qtrs so i know that can distort the figures sometimes but the 2

games i played were right on the money.

Even FGA were around the 40 mark which impressed me as normally they

are closer to 50 for me and the cpu.

Rebounds/PIP/Turnovers were all within what i would expect.

FT's of course were too low for the cpu but again though were slighly

higher than i normally see. I've basically

accepted that they are pretty much broken but if i can get as close to 8-10

each for me and the cpu(6min qtrs)

i am generally happy with that.

Only a couple of things i found that were slighly annoying.

Cpu seems to jump the passing lanes consistently especially pick and roll

which makes passing it around quite dangerous

if there is a cpu player in the vicinity.

And secondly my only real pet peeve with these sliders, because you have

cpu Defensive Awareness so high the cpu sticks to you like glue.I am

barely able to drive past players because of this and even passing it

around to get an open look is extremely hard because their recovery is too

good.

This leads me on to the shooting. Nearly every shot is contested by the

cpu(now like i said above your fg% in the 2 games i

played was spot on so maybe the end justifes the means)but i feel the

NBA as it is today there are so many open

shots with little or no contest and unfortunately i don't see that with this

set.

Minor quibbles and i'm sure you don't want to change too much as you have a great set here..kudos.

Thanks. I appreciate your thoughts. It's all done by design. The defense is ramped up because of how easy the game can be. I can get 30 assist a game easily on this set still especially on pick and rolls. I realized that pick and rolls can get very cheesy so I adjusted to it. You may not know this but I'm the one who learned how to set the slider to blow by the cpu a few months back. I decided to not go that route because Russell Westbrook would avg about 50 with little effort lol. Even with how things are now, I can beat Leonard of the Spurs off the dribble enough with Kidd-Gilchrist of the Hornets. People inbox me telling me they want sliders that present a challenge, so I have to use a lot of give and take. Also, if I make it easier to drive, the free throw difference would be bigger since human players are way more aggressive than cpu. It's hard to balance things. I'm glad you like the set and gave thoughtful insight. I hate today's NBA which defense is a joke lol. I just wanted to provide more defense since the offense in this game can be very overpowering. My brothers kill the pick and roll as well as find open looks easily. I use them to spot cheese lol. Because the cpu contests a lot, you will notice I allow slightly more contested shots to fall.

How have you guys been doing with the sets lately? This is the longest I've gone without a tweak. I may look into a few more tweaks if truly needed.

I just recently started using them but I thought the flow of the game felt really good. I made some changes based on my skill level and style of play that really helped balance it out. The biggest change was backing off the foul frequency, I play on 6 minutes and just prefer to not have that many fouls called. Overall, great starting point for anyone that has some experience with the game.
