Coach Importance

Has anybody tested how important a coaches attributes are to a team's performance? For example if you take two teams but give them one coach who is A+ in defence and another coach who has a C in Offense will that affect the gameplay?

I think they do affect the gameplay. If you play a franchise, I think the coach attributes give a boost towards the attributes, potential, and overall improvement of your players. Also, I think the coach attributes has something to do if you simulate games.

However, there seems to be no connection to player rotations and their coaches. That's why it's better to make your own rotations. If you automate the rotations, the ai will just start players according to their overall ratings, instead of following the philosophy of the team.
