Free Throws Attempts

Has anyone figured out how to get this game to stop giving up easy buckets? I don't see the FT problem as not enough fouls being called, but rather interior defenders are giving up way too many easy buckets that would be fouls in real life because they don't want to give up the 2 points. If we could get this to start happening, PIP would go down, and FT attempts up. Too many times I get 7 FT attempts for both teams in the 1st quarter and then I don't see more than 4 per side the rest of the game, its crazy frustrating. The most FT I've seen in a game is 22, where in the real NBA teams that pound the rock in the paint will consistently get 30+ FT attempts. Any knowledge on how to help this would be much appreciated.

don't think there's much to do to fix this problem. i've raised all players draw foul, foul, and hard foul tendencies to 80+, as well as put all foul sliders at 100 and i rarely see games with over 25 FTAs per team. Raising individual players foul and draw foul tendencies does help increase fouls a bit though, so i do recommend it. besides that, the only other thing that could affect fouls in the paint are the driving/inside contact sliders and layup defense strength/release. i have all 4 of these sliders at 100 but lowering them may result in more fouls, IDK. you can try tweaking those, but ultimately the only way it's going to get fixed is if 2k patches it

Try upping your defensive awareness to 55, STRENGTH (maybe up to 60 to have some banging inside). Also:

Driving Contact Shot Frequency - 100/100
Inside Contact Shot Frequency - 100/100
Layup Defense Strength (Takeoff) - 100/100
Layup Defense Strength (Release) - 100/100
Jump Shot Defense Strength (Gather) -60/60
Jump Shot Defense (Release) - 60/60
Help Defense Strength - 70/70
Steal Success - 65/50

Lack of fouls is really frustrating. I love to drive the lane and try and draw fouls but sooo many obvious ones are not called. You pretty much don't get a foul unless you get obliterated and can't even throw up a decent shot.

The lack of fouls makes playing with Rose, Harden and Wade more difficult than it should be. Those guys draw fouls at will and the most I've seen in a game is around 8 for a single player.

Doesn't KD average around 15 a game??

There needs to be more wrap up fouls. The user has the freedom by holding square on on the PS4 (even though sometime it doesn't work) but the CPU doesn't do it enough.

The main issue I believe having been watching specifically at FTA's is that EVERY SINGLE shot contest is done with a PERFECT vertical contest. Literally EVERY. SINGLE. PLAYER uses this technique PERFECTLY.

It's frustrating to see known Defensive liabilities suddenly be able to perfect this technique in game. Leads to almost every single contact lay-up animation being a no-call.

I don't know if there are anymore shot contest animations, but this one is starting to really frustrate me. Derrick Rose gets mugged on every lay-up, no matter if it's from in front, the side, or behind and gets a call around 15% of the time.
