What exactly does the 'game speed' slider do?

I'm curious as to what exactly the game speed slider's effect on gameplay is. I remember in past year that it would even speed up the clock, is it still that way?

It slows everything down. Ball movement, passing, etc.

Playing on Superstar/Simulation, I play on 35 Game Speed personally. Helps out a lot especially on defense.

What did player speed do then? Just the actual players?
Also, if I lower game speed will it cause the clock to move slower?

Why don't you lower it to 10 or so, play a bit of a qtr then raise it to 75 and see exactly the change for yourself.
