CPU shooting way more FG

So, i'm having a good time with the game and having competitive games...but the CPU consistently has 20-30 more FGA than me in a game. What is causing that? what might some fixes be? I honestly don't follow the NBA too closely, so i don't know if that's normal sometimes or not. seems strange.

Re: CPU shooting way more FG

More than likely, they're getting substantially more steals and offensive rebounds than you are. In addition, you're possibly turning the ball over more than the CPU.

Check your Free Throw attempts as well. If you're averaging several more FT attempts per game than they are, those are still "possessions" that you will not attempt a FG on.

If you play simulation all star default or higher, the cpu rarely turns the ball over. I turned the cpu passing accuracy down to 40 and cpu ball handling down to 47. They are now averaging about 14 turnovers a game which is a very realistic number. I play on simulation HOF with 12 minute qtrs FWIW.

It's the turnovers. I too was having this problem for a while.
I have gotten so much better at not turning the ball over.
Be very careful with ur passes.

Re: CPU shooting way more FG

a few stats from my last game...

me...
57/97 fg
6/15 3
11/15 ft
60 d reb
21 turnovers

them...
43/116 fg
11/49 3
13/16 ft
10 o reb
38 d reb
4 turnovers

besides the fact that i still am not good at passing, does that explain anything? i know 1 game doesn't tell everything...but a -17 to ratio sure does

Man you've gotta be playing at a breakneck pace to have that many FGA's. Also, as WTF said, check your foul sliders. Doesnt seem to be enough FT attempts
